Based upon the German fairytale by the Brothers Grimm, this special adaptation of Snow White uses classical ballet to tell the treasured story of Snow White and the Evil Queen, who is so envious of Snow White’s beauty that she entices her into eating a poisonous apple. Join Snow White on her harrowing-yet-affirming adventure with her seven dwarfs, the Dove, Bluebird and Queen of the Mystical Forest, plus a cast of forest friends who together, show that kindness and compassion always triumph.
This ballet makes for a perfect afternoon outing for all ages, ending with our Cupcake Cafe after each performance. If your little one has a princess or other favorite dress-up costume, please feel free to let them wear that as a part of this magical experience. Ticket holders are also invited to join our dancers for pictures after the curtain closes.
Snow White is choreographed by Melissa Hale Coyle and Lisa Leone, and features the company members and students of Charlotte City Ballet.
